Pricing your services

Pricing is part maths, part psychology. You do not need a spreadsheet marathon — just a clear method.

Start from your costs

Add up what a booking actually costs you: materials, staff time, and a share of your fixed overheads. That is your floor; never price below it.

Look at your neighbours

Check what comparable businesses in your area charge. You do not have to match them, but you should know where you sit.

Use tiers

Offering good, better, and best options lets customers choose their own level — and most will pick the middle. Tiers often raise your average booking value more than a single flat price.

Review regularly

Costs move and demand shifts. Revisit your prices every quarter, and adjust for peak periods rather than leaving one number all year.
